LKB Engineering has been retained to provide a new roadway between Westminster Blvd and Harlan St. in the City of Westminster’s new Downtown District. LKB Engineering provided design and construction administration for this locally funded project.
Work included new asphalt pavement, new sidewalks, retaining walls, new curb and gutter, new drainage system, new sanitary sewer, waterline and Fire Hydrants. Existing pedestrian ramps were measured to identify their existing longitudinal and horizontal cross slope to determine if they needed to be replaced. The design of a new ADA compliant switchback ramp conformed to the City of Westminster standards.
This project was originally awarded to The Vertex Companies, LLC, transferred to LKB Engineering, PLLC in December 2024.
