Alta Sloan’s Lake is a 279,000 square-foot multi-family project featuring 200 apartment units and includes 3400 square feet of amenity space over 2 levels of parking. A dramatic slope on the site created engineering challenges that were resolved by using 2 levels of concrete structure below grade to create the parking garage. A high-water table resulted in the need for a mat foundation to resist buoyant forces. The superstructure is constructed with conventional wood framing, with a varying number of floors as the site slopes to create a total height of 5 stories. The superstructure wraps an internal courtyard that is split between 2 levels and features a pool and sauna at the upper level. The project budget is $40M.
