The DTC Senior Apartments is a 6-story building with a total of 164 units with private balconies for a total gross floor area of 173,000 SF. The units range in size from 800 to 1,500 SF. Other amenities include a dining room and living room/lounge area on the first floor and a library. There is one level of below-grade parking with a total of 115 spaces. The structure consists of cast-in-place post-tensioned flat plate floor slabs and concrete columns. The lateral load system consists of cast-in-place concrete shear walls at the elevator and stair cores. The foundation system is concrete drilled piers founded in bedrock. LKB Engineering provided structural engineering services.
