LKB Engineering was retained by the client to prepare an Industrial Facility National Pollutant Stormwater Discharge Elimination System 5-year permit and conduct annual monitoring of the facility for compliance with the State of Florida permit. LKB Engineering completed a facility audit, identified stormwater drainage features and designated outfalls, provided a detailed plan and schedule for the implementation of the permit and annual training to the facility personnel.
LKB Engineering conducted the annual monitoring of the outfalls, provided quarterly reviews of the facility operations and waste management practices and completed an annual inspection of the drainage conveyances to determine procedures to maintain compliance and recommended maintenance procedures.
This project was originally awarded to The Vertex Companies, LLC, transferred to LKB Engineering, PLLC in December 2024.
